They're doing Beatles AGAIN tonight. Are they just too excited about getting the rights that they're going to hammer it into us all season? I love me some Beatles, but that will get annoying.
Last week, the best were Carly Smithson, David Cook, and Chikezie. The worst were Hernandez and Kristy, as well as Ramiele Malubay and David Archuleta. I'm sure that Carly and Cook will do well again this week, but Carly needs to start smiling when she sings - the frowning is driving me crazy. David Cook is my favorite one this year. I don't want him to win it all because I want him to go on and have a career like Daughtry. David Archuleta is known as the "Golden Arch" this year, but he sucked it last week. He's got a lot to prove or he won't have a chance. Ramiele is on my last nerve. I'm so tired of her crying when anyone leaves - get thicker skin! And she totally reminds me of Jasmine Trias and I just can't have that in my life... Syesha Mercado is fine, but really boring. She'll always sound alright, but there's nothing spectacular about her. Who else is there... Chikezie shocked the hell out of me last week - I hope he keeps it up because I really do like his personality. And I love how he takes criticism. And he seems super nice. Jason Castro is good, but I don't know that he's right for this competition. It would be like having James Taylor or Jack Johnson on the show - you have to be a fan to enjoy their performances. Does Castro have enough fans?
Those are all the people even worth mentioning, good or bad. Oh! I heard Mariah Carey will be a guest judge on April 15th. That's the same time her album drops - very smart of Mimi...
