Please Folks. Support SNAP. (Spay-Neuter Assistance Program, inc.) They are on the front lines battling the animal overpopulation crisis in Houston and NEED YOUR HELP! Even FIVE DOLLARS can make a huge difference. If everyone who read this blog and saw my notes on facebook could donate a dollar or two, we could fund an ENTIRE DAY of FREE spay and neuter surgeries for those in need of assistance in Houston.
Today I had the extreme pleasure of going to the Mobile Clinic on the East Side of Houston to take some photos of the process for future SNAP materials. I can't tell you how HAPPY these people are that SNAP is providing them with free spay and neuter surgeries. These folks WANT TO HELP THEIR ANIMALS, but can't afford to do so. Unfortunately, there is not enough space for all who need the assistance. WE CAN HELP!
SNAP has started their SPRING CLEANING campaign..... it's a campaign to raise money for the mobile clinic and other services SNAP provides to help combat animal overpopulation in Houston and San Antonio. Over 200 dogs and cats are euthanized in Houston each day. It's an awful statistic that can CHANGE. You can help. PLEASE do so.
Just take a look at this boy who made it in time to get his dog spayed. You can see the joy on his face that he has from the companionship his dog provides him, and because of SNAP, he can properly care for his beloved companion animal. Unfortunately, there were many, many people that did NOT get the assistance they needed today because the mobile clinic has a capacity, and it was reached well before 7AM. PLEASE DONATE TO SNAP SO WE CAN RUN MORE MOBILE CLINICS AND HELP MORE ANIMALS. Please do so. I am begging....
